    Description

This is an old redwood sauna that appears to be made from a kit sometime in the 1950s or 1960s.  Some of the boards are marked as:
    "Palco Redwood",
    "CRA" (meaning CRA Certified),
"CLR VG" (which I believe means "Clear All Heart Vertical Grain". ) -> I'm fairly sure that it says VG but it's difficult to read so check the photo for yourself
"RIS" (certified by the Redwood Inspection Service)
The end of some of the bench boards are stamped "Simpson" .
The interior of the sauna measures 7'W x 4'10"D x 7'2"H.  The frame is pine 2x4 but the redwood boards can be removed from this frame and installed into a framed room of the same dimensions (or smaller if you want to cut the boards down).
The sauna kit includes (as shown in the photos):
    1. All four walls and ceiling with redwood tongue-and-groove boards
    2. Trim boards for the corners
    3. Two full-width benches that attach to the walls
    4. A redwood footrest for the floor
    5. Redwood towel hooks
    6. A heavy redwood hinged door that has been coated in what appears to be polyurethane
The sauna does NOT include a heater.  It originally was equipped with an electric 220v heater.
Some of the walls have scratches on them, but most are not deep and should be able to be lightly sanded out.  A few boards may need to be turned inside out to hide the scratches, or moved to a height where they will be covered by the trim boards.
The sauna was built with a foil vapor barrier between the boards and the framing, but this has been damaged and mostly removed.  I don't know whether it's even necessary to have that, but it would be a good idea (if you plan on using this as a sauna) to take the boards off the frame and install a new vapor barrier if needed.
I'm listing this as "Local Pickup Only" because I don't have the means to ship it myself.  However if you want to send a truck to pick it up I would be willing to help load it onto a truck.  You would need to provide any packaging material such as moving blankets.
This redwood could also be used for such purposes as guitars or dulcimers, planter boxes, jewelry boxes, etc.
