This listing is for a vintage alto saxophone ligature. The only marking on it is an "A" stamp. It might be from a vintage Otto Link hard rubber mouthpiece, but I'm not certain, so please check out the pictures and make your own determination. It does have the same cutout pattern associated with Otto Link ligatures. The screws are not original, so should not be used either way as a means of identification. It is made of heavy gage brass.
This ligature is in very good used condition. It has not been bent out of shape, and there are no cracks. The screws work properly, but they aren't original. The lacquer is almost completely worn off the ligature, giving it a definite 'vintage' look.
