Our lovely handcrafted near infrared sauna is lightweight. Hang it from the chain (included) or mount it on a wall with the hangers on the back. It is designed to even sit up on its own if desired. We build each sauna reflecting craftsmanship and a well thought out design. The placement of the orientation of the lights has been proven to give the best results. We build these units with cedarwood, some non-toxic glue, and screws. The front panel is tongue and groove cedar planks encased in a cedar outer picture frame structure crafted by us and have been grooved to hold the front altogether. The only glue on the front panel is the little bit we use to encase the boards in the outer picture frame. We cut and glue cedar support rails to the back of the frame to add strength and create a structure for the rear panel to sit. The rear panel can be removed and is secured down with screws. The near-infrared sauna has a carrying handle on the top and hangers on the back. Each unit has been sanded to have a smooth touch and splinter-free surface. The front panel is routed to have rounded corners and edges to give it an elegant look and to help to keep it looking and feeling nice for you. We sand the corners and borders on the rear panel so you will have a smooth surface all around the unit. Each unit is wired to produce the least EMF's and electric field as possible. We mount the light cages to the front with bolts and by the porcelain light sockets — the ground plug grounds each light cage for safety and to lower EMF's. We test our units for magnetic and electric fields with a TriField meter model 100XE. We check the sauna in a 4-foot x 5-foot enclosed space, and the enclosure reaches 130 degrees in about 15 minutes. We do not recommend sitting any closer than the recommended distance of 18 inches from the bulbs, and that may not be enough depending on your ability to enduring the heat from the lamps
