    Fiery Furnace Forge is now stocking NEW 1045 Steel in various sizes!!
    1045 is a water-quench, medium carbon steel. This is the same steel I make all of my hammers out of and it's great stuff.
    This listing is for FOUR (4) Billets of 1-3/4-inch diameter round stock measuring about 4-inches long. Each billet weighs
    approximately
    2-pounds, 5-ounces each.
    (Please note: We mark and
    center punch the center of our billets so that they are ready for forging. Billets may or may not be center punched when shipped.)
    **Length dimension is nominal with a .125" tolerance!**
