1960s Gretsch Progressive Jazz Drum Set Silver (White) Satin Flame

For your supreme viewing pleasure is this fabulous 1960s Gretsch round badge Progressive Jazz outfit in original silver satin flame (referred to as white satin flame by other companies). These drums tune up wonderfully and sound sublime. They nail the 60's jazz sound and vibe with the greatest of ease. The satin flame finish displays the normally seen spider webbing, with the bass drum and floor tom showing more signs of wear and surface marks than the 12" tom and snare drum. Like almost all Gretsch round badge drums, the heads fit tight. All hardware is original and looks good. The bearing edges are all true and original, and there are no extra holes or modifications. Front Gretsch logo bass drum head is real (not a decal), and the bass drum batter head is original and sounds great. All of the tone controls (top and bottom) are nice and fully functional, as is the bass drum Pratt muffler. This set has a great look and they sound like a dream! The interiors of the 6 ply Jasper shells are all adorned with silver sealer paint and paper tags. Enjoy!
